My Own Qualifications: Having had 6 children, a home daycare, baby sitting, 4 nieces, being oldest of 18 cousins, and working in public daycare, private daycare, & preschool, has given me the unique opportunity to become an expert in the area of childcare, baby carriers, preemies, newborns, multiples, and a whole other list of assorted things. Most of these children have been under my care for either short or extended periods of time. Some have been under my care for 24 hours a day, of course my own children, but others as well.

I have also studied infertility, high risk pregnancies, pregnancy loss (miscarriage), fetal demise, stillbirth, prematurity, multiples, infant death, infancy, early childhood education, and a myriad of other important topics pertaining to the growth and development of babies and mothers from before conception through school ages. Some of these studies have been in college, others have been self driven studies because of trials in my own life as well as those of close family and friends.

My personal struggles have included so many of the above topics that it has been very difficult at times. But these have been experiences that I can draw from to provide others with personal stories of loss, and life while at the same time really compassionately understanding the hardships of others in the same or similar crises that I have been.
